Verily Me is a free app that provides a truly integrated and intuitive experience to support you on your health journey. Verily Me provides personalized health recommendations from licensed providers, based on a review of your medical history from multiple providers and health systems.

In the app, you can:

  • Get personalized recommendations from providers: Licensed clinicians review your relevant patient records across multiple providers and health systems and provide health recommendations tailored just for you.
  • Use your health history in treatment: After receiving your health recommendations, you can view your records in order to inform conversations with your providers.
  • Ask Violet, your private AI companion: Violet is available to answer questions about your health record in a safe and protected place. You can ask questions like “When was my last flu vaccination?”, “Remind me what happened at my last doctor’s appointment?”, and more.
  • Snap and track meals: You can log your meals with the snap of a photo to receive real-time feedback and nutrition tips.
  • Choose to participate in research opportunities: You can consent to participate in Verily’s Lifelong Health Study, a real-world research registry.

To join Verily Me, you must be 18 or older. You must also live in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. U.S. territories are excluded.

No, you can download the app at no cost and there is no insurance copay. Features in the Verily Me Standard program are free to all users. You may also qualify for enrollment to our enhanced program called Lightpath, which expands access to our care team and other app features through your insurer or employer as a benefit to you.

No, your use of the app won't impact your coverage. And, we won't bill your insurance.

Privacy & data security

We have a zero-tolerance policy for the misuse or improper sharing of your private health information. We explicitly ask for your consent to care before our care team retrieves your health records. Also, we’ve built strong security measures to protect your data, and limit access to authorized uses you’ve consented to. Your privacy matters and we understand that sharing your health information requires a lot of trust. We only store and process data in secure, healthcare-grade environments.


Our AI agents can access your health record to provide guidance and answer questions. Unlike some other AI apps and tools, Verily keeps your identifiable health data private. It’s not used to train public models.

Verily also adheres to key regulations and laws such as:

  • The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA)

Our medical group is licensed to practice medicine in all 50 states. It includes physicians, health coaches, registered nurses, and pharmacists. This helps us ensure all patients receive timely, evidence-based care.

They have designed clinical protocols that guide your health recommendations. All recommendations are approved by licensed nurses who can review your health records.

Our care team reviews your relevant health records to evaluate your health and provide personalized care recommendations.
Providers review your relevant health record, including potentially aspects of your:

  • Diagnoses
  • Past doctor and provider visits
  • Medications
  • Test results
  • Medical procedures

You may have missing records for a number of reasons, including:

  • You may need to opt-in to give permission to share your data with the network.
  • You’ve changed your address or name.
  • Your providers don’t share your records with health record exchanges that allow health information to transfer from provider to provider to improve treatment.
  • Older records aren’t available in shareable electronic format.
  • Some providers may not share sensitive data with health record exchanges. These can include mental health, fertility and pregnancy care data.
We’re working to empower you to stay informed and engaged in your health journey. If you notice that your data is missing or incomplete, please click on “Contact Us” under your profile in the Verily Me app and select “Share updates on my health”.

Violet

  • Violet is a personal, private AI companion. She can provide feedback on your meals and answer questions about your health record that’s available on Verily Me.
  • Violet is not human, and she’s not a doctor. Violet can give you information about your health record, but she can’t give you treatment advice or a diagnosis.

You can ask Violet any question about your health record, including past visits, procedures, lab results, vitals, vaccines, medications.

For example, she can create a list of questions to help you prepare for your next doctor’s appointment, such as:

  • Remind me what happened at my last doctor's appointment?
  • What health screenings would be useful to discuss with my doctor at my next appointment?
  • What medications do I have in my record?

Violet can access any health information that’s available in the Verily Me app.

Violet bases her answers on:

  • Lab results from the last 5 years, if available
  • Vaccine records from the last 10 years, if available
  • Other health information from the last 1-2 years, if available

Violet is your personal, private AI companion within the Verily Me app that is always available to answer questions about your health record in a safe, protected place.

Your privacy matters to us. We securely store chat data to provide and improve your experience within this app. This means:

  • Your chats with our AI are not used to train or improve any public or third-party AI systems.
  • Access to your chats data is limited and used only for legitimate internal purposes, such as maintaining system performance, addressing support requests, or improving safety and reliability.
  • We will never share or use your chats for any other purpose unless you explicitly consent or it is required by law--always consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Violet is not a doctor. At this time, Violet doesn’t provide treatment or diagnosis. We’re continuously working to improve her abilities.

Yes. Violet’s responses are based on the info you give her, your health records available, and her training data. Errors or gaps in any of these could affect Violet’s responses.

Lifelong Health Study

Data from diverse groups of people is important for unlocking discoveries in health and medical research. You can help others by sharing your data!

If you choose to join, your participation can help shape research for better treatments, more inclusive care, and a healthier future.

No, you do not need to participate in the Lifelong Health Study to use your Verily Me app.

Verily is the Sponsor of the Lifelong Health Study. That means Verily is responsible for ensuring the study is conducted appropriately and safely according to local laws and regulations. Verily also pays for and designs the study and how it is carried out.

You will sign a consent form to get started, and complete a 10 minute intro (“baseline”) survey. From time to time you'll have the option to complete brief surveys about your health. You may also link your wearable and digital health data to your study data.

Based on the data you provide and the data collected through your Verily Me profile, you may choose to join in future studies in partnership with other research organizations. The study will not require you to change any medical care or behavior.

You can withdraw anytime. To leave the study you'll need to click “withdraw“ in your profile section of your Verily Me app. You can also call the Lifelong Health Study team at 833-998-6836 to speak to a study team member for support. Note that deleting the app will not remove you from the study.

After you withdraw, no new data will be collected. The data you already provided will remain in the study database. You will not be able to delete your data that is already shared. If you decide to re-join the study in the future you may, in your Verily Me app.

If you opt in, this study will collect your:

  • Verily Me app data
  • Wearable device data
  • Survey responses
  • Medical records
If you withdraw, no new data will be collected or used. The data you've already shared will remain.

Your data will be shared with researchers. Their work will advance our understanding of health and improve care.

Verily follows data protection laws and regulations to protect your health information. We also use secure servers to keep your data safe. Verily does not collect your social security number.
